Wednesday, October 25th, 2006We have found our spot! Due to the size of this tournament and the lack of flat space in St. Louis we have moved the 2006 tournament to Deer Creek Park. We love the area and plan to stay for many years to come. Washers for Wellness is working on growing our sponsorship program. To become a sponsor please contact Jen Etling. Expanding beyond Washers? Washers for Wellness has decided we needed to raise even more money for PF research. In November 2006 Washers For Wellness will be hosting a Trivia Night for Washers for Wellness (long enough!). Please stay tuned for more details. In the past 3 years, Washers for Wellness, along with the help of our sponsors and guests has received almost $20,000 in donations!! This is all thanks to the supporters of W4W and the Hopfinger Family. Thank you for your continued generous support! The board of directors has been established. With this top notch team we are going to be able to turn this non-profit organization into a huge success in helping raise money to find a cure for PF.
Congratulations to Team Moyer for beating out Team Summit Strategies in the finals to become the 4th Annual Washers for Wellness champions! 2006 was a very successful year raising over $10,000 to help find a cure. This has by far been our best year to date. I would like to recognize and thank Derek Belz for helping out with our accounting needs I would like to recognize and thank Tom Neill for his help with the legal work. The 5th annual Washers for Wellness is scheduled for May 19th, 2007 @ Deer Creek Park
